• Carpet roller
5. Prepare the Room: Now we have the exact measurements and all the necessary tools, we turn our attention to preparing the room and making sure that we have the exact quantity of carpet required to cover the room. The next task is to remove the old carpet and vacuum the floor to clean the dirt on the floor. By doing this we confirm that the room is ready where we will install your new carpet.
6. Fitting Tack Strips: Once the room is prepared for installation, we fit the tack strips based on the parameters of the room to make sure a smooth installation. We remove the previous tack strips. Nail tack strips around the room. Leave around a space of half-inch between every two strips. Secure them with the help of a stapling gun or hammer.
7. Underlay Installation: The next step we follow, is flooring padding. To protect your floor and carpet, we add padding. Besides avoiding damages and maintenance padding also feels smooth on your feet. We use a variety of padding based on your preferences.
8. Cutting and Installing the Carpet: The final step is cutting the carpet based on the measurement that we've done in the first step. We cut out the excess carpet and the carpet properly.
After successfully installing the carpet we allow it to go through the vacuuming one last time to make it appear proper and smooth.
